FAQ

Ordering, Shipping & Pickup

Rush production may be available on a case-by-case basis. Availability depends on current production capacity, material availability, and the specific details of your project.

If you have a hard deadline, we strongly recommend reaching out before placing your order so we can confirm what’s possible. Calling one of our locations is the fastest way to check rush availability and timelines:

  • Redwood City: 650-780-9747
  • Sacramento: 916-603-8819
  • Los Angeles: 650-533-2192

You can also email art@stickerfarmer.com with your project details and deadline.

Please note that rush timelines begin after proof approval, and rush fees may apply depending on the scope and turnaround required.

Order cancellations may be possible before proof approval and before production begins. Once a proof has been approved and your order has entered production, it can no longer be canceled or refunded.

If you need to request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible so we can confirm the status of your order.

Calling during business hours is the fastest way to check if a cancellation is still possible:

  • Redwood City: 650-780-9747

After hours, please email art@stickerfarmer.com.

If your order is caught before setup and production begin, we can cancel it with a full refund. Once production has started, the order is non-refundable.

We offer nationwide shipping and local pickup options. Standard shipping timeline is 3–8 business days. Shipping timelines vary by location.

Yes, we offer local pickup at all of our locations.

For online orders, customers can select local pickup at our Redwood City location during checkout. If you’d like to pick up an online order at our Sacramento or Los Angeles locations, please add a note to your order or contact us directly to confirm pickup arrangements.

Local pickup is available during business hours, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. You’ll receive an email notification when your order is ready for pickup.

Artwork & File Setup

Yes. All orders receive a proof before printing, and nothing goes into production without the customer’s final approval.

For online orders, a free digital proof is provided instantly on the website for review and approval before purchase.

If you’re working directly with a project manager or request a manual proof, a designer will create and send a proof for approval. Manual proofs are typically delivered within 24–48 hours.

Production only begins after final proof approval, ensuring everything looks exactly how you expect before printing.

Vector files (AI, EPS, or PDF) are ideal. In some cases we can work with high-resolution PNG or JPEG. If you don’t have a print-ready file, we can assist.

Every file is reviewed by a designer before printing to ensure it meets production requirements.

For online orders, if we identify any issues with your file, we’ll flag them and contact you using the information provided at checkout. This may include email, phone, or both, depending on what’s needed. Production will not move forward until the issue is confirmed and approved.

If your project requires design assistance, our in-house design team is available to help. We can assist with full design work, layout and size adjustments, rebuilding or refining artwork, adjusting cut lines, and more. Design services are quoted by project based on scope.

Our goal is to make sure your order prints correctly and looks exactly how you expect before it goes into production.

Stickers & Labels

The main difference comes down to how they’re used.

Stickers are individually cut (die-cut) pieces made from durable, high-quality vinyl. They’re designed to be handled, shared, and displayed, making them ideal for branding, giveaways, merch, and promotions. Stickers are thicker and more durable, which helps them hold up over time.

Labels are primarily designed for application to products. They’re typically produced on rolls or sheets for easy application and are commonly used on packaging, jars, bottles, bags, and other product containers. Labels are usually printed on BOPP material, which is thinner and more flexible, allowing for smoother, more efficient application.

Stickers:
Yes. All of our stickers are waterproof, weatherproof, UV-resistant, and scratch-resistant, making them suitable for outdoor use and long-term durability.

Labels:
Our labels are designed to handle moisture, handling, and everyday product use, but they are not UV-resistant and are not recommended for long-term outdoor exposure.

If you have a specific environment or use case in mind, we recommend reaching out so we can help confirm the best option for your application.

Our standard label materials are BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) and vinyl, both durable options that are waterproof and durable.

We can also produce labels on specialty materials such as paper, clear, holographic, prism, or foil finishes. These specialty options aren’t available for online ordering yet, but you can call or email us for a custom quote.

Yes! Our design team can assist with file setup, resizing, or even creating your label artwork from scratch.

Yes! We offer perforated labels. They’re not available for instant purchase on the website, but you can call or email art@stickerfarmer.com for a custom quote.

Sticker Bags & Direct Print Bags

Sticker bags are blank mylar bags with custom stickers applied, ideal for fast turnaround and smaller runs.

Direct print bags have your design printed directly onto the bag for a more premium and seamless look.

Minimums vary by product:

  • Sticker bags: as low as 100
  • Direct print bags: typically 1,000+

Turnaround depends on the product and quantity, but generally:

  • Sticker bags: 5–7 business days
  • Direct print bags: 3–5 weeks

Design

Yes! Whether you need a full branding package or just help formatting your logo for print, our design team can assist.

Our design process typically includes:

  • Design Consultation — We start with a phone call to discuss your vision, goals, and any inspiration or brand assets you have.
  • Invoice & Project Kickoff — Once details are confirmed, you’ll receive an invoice to officially begin the project.
  • First Design Proof — After payment, your initial design proof will be delivered within 5–7 business days.
  • Revisions — We include up to 3 complimentary rounds of revisions to fine-tune your design.
  • Final Approval & Delivery — Once approved, your design is sent to print. We can also provide the final files for your own use.

Typical turnaround for first round proof is 5–7 business days after payment. Any revision rounds may take an additional 24 to 48 hours for each round.

Rush design services may be available. Let us know your timeline so we can best accommodate you.

Not at all! While we specialize in print-ready design, we’re happy to design for digital, social, or external vendors as well.

We provide a full range of design services including:

  • Packaging Design (bags, boxes, labels, jars, tubes)
  • Branding & Logos
  • Event & Promo Materials (tents, banners, tablecloths, etc.)
  • Custom Merchandise (swag, apparel, Hustle Heads, etc.)

Whether you need a full brand package or just a quick layout fix, we’ve got you covered.

No problem. We can update, resize, or clean up your existing files. We also convert artwork to print-ready formats if needed.
